Each one of us receives the abundant power of the Universe in one’s own unique ways. One may not know, recognize, or understand this at the time.

Prompted by a strong desire, that grew over the years, to realize and share this knowledge with others and to inspire others to do likewise, I started writing and expressing it through poetry in simple but meaningful words and verses.

My first published poem titled “Spaceship” appeared in a book called “Immortal Verses” in the Summer of 2007.  Encouraged by my caring family, relatives, friends, and acquaintances, I’ve continued writing to date.  I thoroughly enjoy my mostly right-brained writing and publishing adventures -- especially after a long stint of my left-brain in Engineering, which too I thoroughly and gainfully enjoyed!

In the Fall of 2007, I created a poetry blog where I publish my poems, along with reader comments, almost daily. My blog is well-liked and respected, and is frequently rated among the Top 10:

                                    "Ash Pradhan's Poetry."

The blog is on a popular site of a few hundred blogs on dozens of topics
with global readership of a few thousand:

                                      http://www.blogit.com.

Several prolific writers, such as Sam444, Elysianfields, Ariala, Shobana, Lion, Katray publish their work here daily.

On Jan 10, 2010, I was pleased to announce the launch of

                             “Ash Pradhan Publications”

a privately owned internet-based non-profit venture in select publications about life. A venture intended to be of value to diverse people globally in leading their lives with dignity, equality, peace, and prosperity by gaining essential knowledge about life through the power of thought and word, and to share a part of the proceeds for promoting the cause.

On February 1, 2011, we launched this web-site

"AshPradhanPoetry.com"
A charming, soulful journey of life, love and relationships.

I plan to continue this work of writing, publishing, and promoting the cause over the next several years primarily from Northern Virginia, where I currently reside, and from my favorite tropical destinations in India / Caribbean / Hawaiian islands.
